Item Educational Dialogue in the Conditions of Edification of Primary Education: Axiological Aspect(United States, 2020) Yashchuk, Inna P.; Vykhrushch, Vira O.; Rusnak, Ivan S.; Sharhun, Tetiana; Vasylyk, Maryna S.EN: The article presents an empirical research of the problem of educational edification in the axiological plane, analyzes scientific literature, history, and strategies of edificatory changes in response to contemporary challenges in primary education, substantiates the features of cultural and historical and pedagogical processes related to the changes in pedagogical mentality in the context of edification and the new paradigm of education. The essence of edifying changes in the sphere of human culture and educational activity as a part of this culture are analyzed, including systematized general historical and pedagogical and general pedagogical foundations of edification in elementary education through educational dialogue as the means of active formation of a personality of the younger student. It is established that valuable and epistemological anthropocentrism determine the specifics of social philosophical analysis of the role of human-centric education, that sociocentrism of the sociological approach promotes the integration of modern theories into a unified methodological educational strategy, and that in the world a hermeneutical-dialogical tradition has been created, according to which a person develops through action and dialogue that which connects him with culture and the world. The credibility of the research results was confirmed by means of a Mann-Whitney U-test and the accuracy criterion for the differences of averages of the student's t-test for independent selections. On the basis of the research conducted the problems and directions are defined, and strategic, general pedagogical means of changes bringing edification through educational dialogue in primary education are outlined as an effective direction of its reformation.Item Historical and Pedagogical Aspects of Application of Forms and Methods of Learning Foreign Languages In Institutions of Higher Education of Ukraine(Wolters Kluwer Medknow Publications, India, 2020) Syniavska, Alla; Sharhun, Tetiana; Lauta, Olena; Bets, Iryna; Yarmolenko, Mariya; Berezovska, ViktoriiaEN: The analysis of the source base is carried out in the article, which allows to single out the following tendencies of the unification period: paradigmatic (realization of the ideological imperative in the language and professional training of future specialists in the maritime field); structural-educational (preparation according to unified curricula and programs, reading and translation as a leading type of speech activity); semantic (integration of foreign language training and multicultural education); instrumental and methodical (use of traditional verbal methods, standardized textbooks, limited to information and reproduction exercises). Trends in the study of foreign languages in maritime higher education institutions in the 70s of the XX - early XXI century are found: paradigmatic (consistency with world standards of training future maritime professionals in the study of foreign languages in higher education institutions); structural and educational (standardization of training in higher education institutions with increasing academic freedom of the institution); content (updating the sectoral focus of the content of foreign language education in accordance with international standards); instrumental and methodical introduction of personality-oriented technologies, expansion of educational opportunities, evolution of its forms, methods and means from traditional to innovative). It is determined that the unification period is marked by the fact that the teaching of foreign languages in maritime educational institutions of the outlined period took place according to unified curricula using traditional forms and methods that had a relay character. The leading types of speech activity were reading and listening. The formation of the content of readiness of specialists in the maritime industry provided for the implementation of the ideological imperative, in particular in the process of foreign language training. Identified factors that had a destructive effect on the development of maritime education, such as excessive centralization and unification of management of higher education institutions.Item Linguistic and Humanitarian Competence of Future Engineers: The Philosophical and Anthropological Aspect(Дрогобицький державний педагогічний університет імені Івана Франка, Україна, 2020) Sharhun, Tetiana; Potseluiko, AndriyEN: In the article the theoretical foundations of forming the linguistic and humanitarian competence of technical university students as an important factor of personal development are discussed, based on the analysis of scientific sources and empirical material. The linguistic humanitarian competence of a specialist with higher technical education is defined as an integrative dynamic structural quality of a personal that combines a set of linguistic, humanitarian, communicative and socio-cultural competences, communicative and cognitive skills. It has been demonstrated that the process of personal development consists primarily in qualitative changes in mental activity, in the formation of new personality traits. The role of competence approach in the organization of the educational process in universities has been studied. The ability to solve problems that arise during the cognitive, technological and mental activities, in the spheres of ethical, social, legal, professional, personal relationships is given the priority. It has been established that the linguistic humanitarian practices are extremely important in the philosophical and anthropological context as one of the key factors of the personal development. Generalized characteristic features of different forms of intelligence are provided. It is stated that the linguistic humanitarian practices develop not only the verbal linguistic intelligence, but also the creativity, that is, the ability to use the results of different types of intelligence. The influence of the linguistic humanities on the social communicativeness of future specialists is highlighted, which is important for the implementation of moral norms as a condition for the social adaptation of an individual. It requires improvement of the content and procedure of the educational process, the development of cognitive independence and commitment of students, the formation of self-education and self-criticism skills, as well as communication skills.Item Teaching General Professional Foreign Language Vocabulary Students Based on Integrated Modular Course(IAEME Publication, 2020) Sharhun, Tetiana; Tsaryk, Olga; Kuzmenko, Nadiia; Yanovets, Anzhelika; Movchan, Valentyna; Dovbenko, TetyanaEN: In this study, an attempt is made to solve the problem of better language training of students at the general professional stage of higher education. Having studied the basic methodological principles of teaching the lexical side of the language, we concluded that the learning process should be organized based on an integrated modular course that teaches English and the subject side of the future field of activity. A set of exercises based on the materials of authentic popular science texts and videos has been developed for the effective formation of lexical skills and abilities. Working with videos is an integral part of the complex and plays a potent activator of the learning process. In the process of learning stimulates the educational and cognitive activity of students, the ability to work independently on educational projects is formed; provides humanitarian and social development of the individual, which, in turn, leads to the development of professional, communicative competence. Experimental training confirmed the effectiveness of the developed method of teaching professionally-oriented vocabulary based on an integrated modular course.Item The Impact of European Educational Integration on the Process Study of Foreign Languages in Institutions of Higher Education of Ukraine(Medknow Publications, Malaysia, 2020) Zheliaskov, Vasyl; Krasnopolskyi, Volodymyr; Sharhun, Tetiana; Ihnatenko, Victoriia; Hinsirovska, Iryna; Tymofyeyeva, OksanaEN: The article reviews the integration into the world educational space, the outlined period is marked by the following trends: paradigmatic (introduction of values of national authenticity in the study of foreign languages by future specialists in the maritime field); structural-educational (development of curricula on the basis of educational-professional program and structurallogical scheme of training); semantic (deepening of the branch direction of the content of foreign language education); instrumental and methodical (introduction of a communicative approach, computerization of education, expansion of the list of educational literature with manuals of foreign publishers). The integration period (2003 - 2017) is considered, which is marked by the introduction of European norms and standards in education, updating the content, forms and methods of teaching. In particular, in 2009 it was investigated that in the process of European integration into the world educational space the emphasis was shifted from theoretical to practical training, the competence approach was introduced; reformatted programs, curricula, etc., which are consistent with European integration areas and European standards; formation of higher education students' ability to learn throughout life. In the educational activity of learning a foreign language, the interaction between teacher and cadet changes, the importance of foreign languages is updated, information and communication technologies are actively used during the control of knowledge of foreign languages. At the same time, the unwillingness of institutions to implement reforms can be traced (lack of professional teachers, incorrect use of forms, methods and means of teaching). The analysis of the source base was carried out, which allowed to state the tendencies of the integration period. Perspective directions of using productive ideas of historical and pedagogical experience for improvement of foreign language professional training of future specialists of the maritime branch are revealed.
