I.EN:The paper is devoted to teaching grammar of the French language under the modern conditions. Since the processes of communication in the modern world are getting highly significant, this issue should be considered. The desire of Ukraine to join the European community encourages linguists to look for alternative approaches to teaching foreign languages in order to meet the level of European standards. Searching different methods, pedagogical techniques, revealing the potential of students, their intellectual and creative capabilities, leads scholars to conclude that it is necessary to introduce new technologies in the process of teaching foreign languages. Interactive teaching methods change the relationship between a teacher and a student. The student gets involved in the educational process. The use of the Internet, informational training programs opens up new opportunities for learning foreign languages. Grammar of the French language is an important link in this process. Working with tests, preparing presentations, course papers on grammar, etc. allow students to expand their knowledge of grammar, which has a lot of peculiarities such as a phenomenon of asymmetry, which is manifested in different grammatical categories. Partial asymmetry is manifested in moods with a different number of tenses. The discrepancy between the forms of written and oral language led to the emergence of two morphological systems. The grammar system of the French language has a 1ot of polysemantic and indefinite forms; it is diverse due to the means of expressing grammatical meaning.
