| dc.description.abstract | UK: У статті досліджено підприємницьку діяльність та благодійність старообрядців міста Олександрівська купців Мінаєвих. Встановлено, що в основі соціальної доброчинності купців-старообрядців було розуміння значення їх безкорисних діянь у вирішенні проблем саме соціального характеру: за допомогою Мінаєвих було побудовано багато навчальних закладів в місті, організовано будівництво старообрядницької церкви. Купецтво було уніка-льним прошарком імперського суспільства, бо виступало підприємницьким елементом на традиційно аграрних територіях Східної України. | uk_UA |
| dc.description.abstract | EN: The article discusses the merchant Minaievy, formed Old Believers, who were engaged in income generating activities and alms-deed. Old-Belief merchants Minaievy and were engaged in philanthropy, inverting in this concept self-forgetfulness. merchant Minaievy solved social problems with the help of self-forgetfulness, such as the construction of many education institutions in town, to organisation of the structure of the Russian Orthodox Old-Rite Church. Merchants was unique upper class, because they were subjects of economic activities of agricultural territories in eastern Ukraine. Old-Beliefs merchants Minaievy and their income generating activities made a significantly contribution by their income generating activities to economic development of the Yekaterinoslav Governorate. Their economic activities contributed greatly to local development, as put up money for the folds and faith community. And even today, their income generating activities are a good example of an organic social-economic evolution. However, during the research, arose questions about confession of faith of the Minaievy, because one of the brothers was buried after Orthodox traditions and was registered in the registry – professes Eastern Christianity. However, it should be noted that the Old Believers did not go out of the faith-community. Based on the analysis of the alms-deeds of the Old Believer merchants can be following conclusion: priority investments were illegal on Russian Orthodox Old-Rite Church until 1905. The mutual aid was one of the actions, that were necessary for maintain the community of Old Believers, because this community did not support the government and the Established Church. Old-Beliefs merchants were always merchants, were immune to the temptation to ennoble, since there was fewer unique upper class. And for that reason, their upper class was long lived, but it was not typical for Russian economy. The research of Old-Belief merchants is relevant from the point the view of populariziting a small history in Yekaterinoslav Governorate in modern Ukrainian historical studies. | en |
