| dc.description.abstract | UKR: У роботі розглядається процес перейменування топонімів у м. Дніпро у рамках політики декомунізації. Підкреслено, що саме у топонімах актуалізується та зберігаєтся історична пам’ять народу. Мета статті – дослідити, яким чином нові топоніми Дніпра відображають місцеву (регіональну) історичну пам’ять. Закон про декомунізацію дав змогу відійти від ідеологічного чинника в міській топоніміці, підкреслити місцеву історію. Визначено, що у перейменування топонімів Дніпра панує україноцентричний підхід. Найбільш численними є номінації об’єктів міського простору на честь історичних постатей загальноукраїнського масштабу та персоналій, що пов’язані із історією розвитку міста зокрема. У рамках цього дослідження відзначено кілька постатей, пов’язаних з м. Дніпро та цікавих історикам та культурологам. | uk_UA |
| dc.description.abstract | ENG: The paper considers the process of renaming toponyms in Dnipro within the framework of decommunization policy. It is emphasized that it is in toponyms that the historical memory of the people is actualized and preserved. The purpose of the article is to investigate how the new toponyms of Dnipro reflect the local (regional) historical memory. The law on decommunization made it possible to move away from the ideological factor and to emphasize local history in urban toponyms. It is determined that the Ukrainian-centric approach prevails in renaming the toponyms of Dnipro. The most numerous are the nominations of urban space objects in honor of historical figures of all-Ukrainian scale and personalities related to the history of the city in particular. As part of this study, several figures associated with the city of Dnipro and of interest to historians and culturologists were identified. Thus, toponyms can be called a "translator" of historical memory, because they are deeply involved in the everyday life of the inhabitants of the city and can arouse interest in historical events. | en |
