PID-Ifying the Open Research Ecosystem: Successful Stories of the use of ORCID and other Persistent Identifiers

ENG: Persistent identifiers (PIDs) have become an essential part of the scientific information infrastructure. In addition to allowing content disambiguation, citation and recognition or linking different entities in the research ecosystem, they allow us to have a series of associated metadata. This presentation will deal with the inclusion of PIDs in the different infrastructures. It will also present examples of successful implementation stories with a special focus on university and research libraries.

UKR: Постійні ідентифікатори (PID) стали невід'ємною частиною наукової інформаційної інфраструктури. Крім того, що вони дозволяють розпізнавати контент, цитувати і розпізнавати або пов'язувати різні об'єкти в дослідницькій екосистемі, вони дозволяють нам мати ряд пов'язаних з ними метаданих. Ця презентація буде присвячена включенню PID в різні інфраструктури. Також будуть представлені приклади успішних історій впровадження з особливим акцентом на університетські та дослідницькі бібліотеки.
