| dc.description.abstract | UKR: У статті досліджено трансформацію стратегічного управління бізнес-системами в умовах переходу від VUCA- до BANI-середовища. Обґрунтовано необхідність використання адаптивних стратегій забезпечення стратегічної резильєнтності. Використано системний підхід, метод сценарного планування та економіко-математичне моделювання. Запропоновано авторську класифікацію адаптивних стратегій та типологічну матрицю поведінки підприємств залежно від рівня цифрової зрілості й організаційної мобільності. Розроблено рекурсивний механізм управління циклу «Sense-Assess-Option-Act-Learn». Наукова новизна полягає у формалізації інтегрального показника рівня адаптивності (ІПРА), який дозволяє кількісно верифікувати здатність бізнесу до трансформації. Апробація методики засвідчує її дієвість для прийняття прецизійних управлінських рішень. Доведено, що імплементація адаптивних стратегій є ключовою умовою не лише виживання, а й капіталізації невизначеності для повоєнного відновлення. | uk_UA |
| dc.description.abstract | ENG: The article investigates the fundamental transformation of strategic management paradigms within modern business systems operating under the transition from VUCA to BANI (Brittle, Anxious, Nonlinear, Incomprehensible) environments, further exacerbated by the full-scale military aggression in Ukraine. It is substantiated that classical deterministic models based on linear extrapolation have lost their predictive power, necessitating a shift towards adaptive strategies focused on ensuring strategic resilience and organizational viability rather than mere profit maximization. The primary objective of this study is to conceptualize the theoretical and methodological foundations for forming adaptive strategies and to develop a robust toolkit for assessing the adaptive potential of business systems. The research methodology employs a systemic approach, scenario planning, comparative analysis, and economic-mathematical modeling. The study refines the economic essence of the «adaptive management strategy» category through the prism of synergetics. An original classification of adaptive strategies is developed, categorized by the depth of organizational transformation and the type of reaction to exogenous determinants. Furthermore, a typological matrix of business behavior is proposed, segmenting enterprises into four quadrants based on the dichotomy of digital maturity and organizational mobility. A key contribution of the paper is the development of a recursive management mechanism integrating continuous monitoring, scenario assessment, option generation, decision-making, and organizational learning (the «Sense-Assess-Option-Act-Learn» cycle). Unlike linear models, this mechanism ensures real-time responsiveness to weak signals in high-turbulence environments. Scientific novelty lies in the formalization of an Integral Indicator of Adaptability Level (IIAL), a mathematical model that allows for the quantitative verification of a business system's capacity to modify its structure, processes, and capital flows. The formula incorporates weighted coefficients for digitalization, mobility, proactivity, and transformation depth. The proposed methodology was tested using the case of a major Ukrainian industrial enterprise (Interpipe). The calculated IIAL value of approximately 0.62 indicates a moderate level of adaptability, highlighting specific areas for improvement in digital integration and transformational agility. The results prove that implementing adaptive strategies serves as a strategic buffer, absorbing external shocks while creating a foundation for post-war recovery under the «Build Back Better» principle. The study concludes that in the current BANI reality, adaptability transforms from a tactical tool into the core strategic asset determining the long-term competitiveness and survival of business systems. Practical implications include guidelines for managers to shift from Just-in-Time efficiency to Just-in-Case reliability and to decentralize decision-making processes. | en |
