| dc.description.abstract | UKR: Анотація. Корупція в Україні є гострою проблемою, що впливає на економічну безпеку, соціальну стабільність та міжнародні відносини країни. Її вплив простягається від внутрішніх аспектів державного управління до зовнішньоекономічної політики, створюючи перешкоди для розвитку та інтеграції України на міжнародній арені. У статті виявлено, що, незважаючи на значний зусилля у боротьбі з корупцією, Україна все ще стикається з низкою викликів, що стримують ефективність існуючих антикорупційних заходів. Акцент робиться на важливості забезпечення незалежності антикорупційних органів, необхідності подальшого удосконалення законодавства, зокрема в аспектах державних закупівель та конфлікту інтересів, та підвищення прозорості державного управління. Також аналізується роль громадянського суспільства та міжнародної співпраці у посиленні антикорупційних зусиль. | uk_UA |
| dc.description.abstract | ENG: Summary. Corruption in Ukraine is a pressing issue that affects the country's economic security, social stability, and international relations. Its influence extends from internal aspects of state governance to foreign economic policy, creating obstacles to Ukraine's development and integration into the international arena. The aim of this article is to analyze the impact of corruption on Ukraine's economic security, with a focus on the existing legal and institutional mechanisms to counteract corruption. The research is based on the analysis of scholarly works, legislative acts, reports of national and international organizations, and data from sociological surveys. This approach has allowed for a comprehensive analysis of the situation and identification of key directions for the further improvement of anti-corruption policy. The article reveals that despite significant progress in the fight against corruption, Ukraine continues to face a number of challenges that hinder the effectiveness of existing anti-corruption measures. It is emphasized that the main principle in combating corruption is the rotation and renewal of personnel in state authorities. However, implementing such measures is associated with certain institutional constraints. Emphasis is placed on the importance of ensuring the independence of anti-corruption bodies, the need for further improvement of legislation, particularly in aspects of public procurement and conflict of interest, and increasing transparency in state administration. The role of civil society and international cooperation in strengthening anti-corruption efforts is also discussed. The debatable aspects that were highlighted in the article indicate the complexity of the problem of corruption in Ukraine and the diversity of views on ways to solve it. It is important to continue the dialogue between various stakeholders, including the government, civil society and international partners, to develop and implement effective anti-corruption strategies. The results obtained have practical significance for policymakers, analysts, and researchers dealing with the issue of corruption and its impact on socio-economic development. They provide a basis for developing more effective strategies to combat corruption, aimed at enhancing economic security and strengthening democracy in Ukraine. | en |
