Model and Information Technologies for Adaptive Management of Organizations According to the Criteria of Efficiency and Timeliness
(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), 2021) Molokanova, Valentina M.; Hordieieva, Inna O.
ENG: Purpose is improving the adaptive management model of organizations on the criteria of efficiency and timeliness in order to reduce the destructive harmful effects of the VUCA-environment, ensure adaptation to the effects of COVID-19, Industry 4.0, and the transition to a circular economy. To solve the tasks following methods were applied: the method of analysis and synthesis, the system approach, the theory of solving inventive problems, methods of decision making, the method of structural analysis and systems design, grouping, generalization. A matrix of six quadrants was developed, each of which was obtained at the intersection of the criteria "efficiency - inefficiency" of management decisions, and the implementation timeliness of these decisions in states of delay, timely, and ahead (premature). The characteristics of each quadrant are determined: the adaptation of the organization to the destructive factors of the environment, the area of control of the system (viability, destruction, non-viability), the effectiveness of strategy implementation through project activities, and competitiveness. The developed approaches can be used to improve the procedure for evaluating the effectiveness of project activities of any sector of the economy for operational management and adaptation to the destructive factors of the environment. The article may be of interest to project managers and senior managers.

Problems and Way of Improving Project-Oriented Learning in Ukraine
(Odessa National Polytechnic University, 2023) Molokanova, Valentina M.; Hordieieva, Inna O.
ENG: Project-based learning is a student-centered learning process that provides opportunities to explore and combine theory and practice. This study aims to examine student responses after their participation in project-based learning and identify the skills that students have improved after completing the project-based learning process, using its 4 stages. An experimental verification of the possibilities of applying project-based learning project-based learning for students to acquire project competencies through the development and implementation of their own projects was conducted. A total of 70 students who studied at the faculties of management under the educational program "Project Management" participated in the study. The results showed a positive reaction of students to their experience of participating in project-based learning, which combines elements of theory and practice. In addition, the results of this study showed that project-oriented learning has a positive impact on the development of behavioral competencies of students and their further professional orientation. Students responded that thanks to project-based learning they have improved their thinking skills, problem-solving skills, gained a sense of self-realization, as well as teamwork skills. The work has further developed the iterative learning method by applying it to assess professional competencies in project management in different ways of learning: on personal experience, the experience of other lecturers and students, or combined learning in the first and second way. The proposed mathematical method for calculating the time for students to acquire project management competencies allows you to calculate whether a graduate, if included in a group, will have time to master the reference set of professional competencies, as those that are laid down in the educational program. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the application of project-based learning for students to acquire project competencies. The results of the study are confirmed during the experimental verification of the impact of project-based learning on students during the development and implementation of their own projects. The practical value of the study lies in helping educators to improve the quality of education. The study showed that project-based learning is an effective method for students to acquire project competencies. The article may be of interest to educational workers, scientists, and practitioners in project management.

Study of the Organization Adaptivity Rate Correlation in Relation to its Internal Integrity
(Odessa National Polytechnic University (ONPU), Ukraine, 2020) Molokanova, Valentina M.; Hordieieva, Inna O.
ENG: The focus of modern project management is increasingly shifting from the management of individual projects to the management of strategic project-oriented development of organizations. Now there is a need to pay more attention to project management as a universal tool for the development of systems at any level. The aim of the article is to study the processes of organization adaptation to constant changes through a synergetic portfolio of projects based on a strategic plan for the development and evolution of the organization. The spiral movement of systems development for studying development processes is considered: the process of transition of an organization from one stable state to another, the process of radical changes that accompanies innovation, as well as the processes of growth and development of crisis phenomena. The methodological principles of the organization evolutionary development management through the implementation of portfolio using its methods and tools are considered. It is proposed to manage the organization evolutionary development by building actions in the form of a synergistic portfolio of appropriate projects content, in order to increase the value of the entire portfolio of projects over the value of individual projects. The synergetic portfolio of projects is seen as a tool for a harmonious transition to the desired evolutionary state, by preserving the internal integrity of the organization and ensuring its sustainability. A mathematical model for estimating the desired properties and relations of the organizational synergetic portfolio of projects is proposed, which allows to determine and minimize the magnitude of the evolutionary goals inconsistency and to stabilize the current state of organization. It is determined that the two main tasks of any organization - external adaptation and internal integration - constantly push the organization to evolutionary development. The article proposes the author's approach to managing the organization evolutionary development through a portfolio of projects identifies indicators of adaptation of the organization to changes in the environment, defines the conditions for maintaining the integrity of the organization in the process of organizational changes.
