dc.description.abstractENG: The university library has a fairly complete collection of books compared to other types of books found in other educational libraries. University libraries have a role in supporting student academic achievement. Academic achievement is thought to be related to reading ability and gender. The purpose of this study was to determine the reading ability of library collection textbooks related to academic achievement. The methodology used is the 1st experiment (N = 34) using Chi-square analysis; the second experiment (N = 34) with Chi-square analysis; and the third experiment (N = 37) with Chi-square analysis. The results showed that in the first experiment, academic achievement had a significant relationship with the reading method. In the second experiment, academic achievement had a significant relationship with reading ability. In the third experiment, academic achievement has a significant relationship with gender. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd experiments were carried out in space, at different times and with different participants. The conclusion of this study shows that the method of reading well contributes to academic achievement. Grade point average (GPA) has a significant relationship with reading ability. Gender has a significant relationship with academic achievement.en
dc.description.abstractUKR: Університетська бібліотека має досить велику колекцію підручників порівняно з іншими освітянськими бібліотеками. Університетські бібліотеки відіграють важливу роль у підтримці академічної успішності студентів. Вважається, що академічні успіхи пов'язані з навичкою читання та гендерною приналежністю. Мета цього дослідження полягала в тому, щоб визначити вплив навички користуватися підручниками з бібліотечних колекцій на академічну успішність студентів. Методологія, що використовується, являє собою 1-й експеримент (N = 34) з використанням аналізу хі-квадрат; другий експеримент (N = 34) з аналізом хі-квадрат; та третій експеримент (N = 37) з аналізом хі-квадрат. Результати показали, що в першому експерименті академічні досягнення мали значний зв'язок із методом читання. У другому експерименті академічні здобутки мали значний зв'язок із навичкою читання. У третьому експерименті академічна успішність має значний зв'язок із статтю. 1-й, 2-й та 3-й експерименти були тривалими та проводилися у різний час і з різними учасниками. Висновок цього дослідження показує, що метод правильного читання сприяє академічній успішності. Середній бал успішності (GPA) має значний зв'язок із навичкою читання. Стать має значний зв'язок із академічною успішністю.uk_UA
