Особливості вираження проблеми батьківщини в поезії Гната Бердо

| dc.description.abstract | UKR: Творчість Гната Бердо натепер практично не досліджена. Стаття присвячена аналізу особливостей вираження проблеми батьківщини у творчості україномовного поета в Канаді Гната Бердо. Простежено художнє розмежування світу на дві батьківщини: Україну і Канаду. Визначено основні мотиви й образи, через які розкриваються образи обох батьківщин. У роботі використані такі методи дослідження, як біографічний (розгляд змісту творів Гната Бердо у зв’язку з його біографією), аналітичний (розгляд образної системи з метою розкриття своєрідності вираження проблеми батьківщини), описовий (аналіз індивідуально-авторських пріоритетів і загальних тенденцій розвитку україномовної поезії Канади). У результаті дослідження було визначено, що центральною темою поетичної творчості Гната Бердо є проблема батьківщини. Провідні в її розкритті мотиви любові, суму, ностальгії за батьківщиною-Україною. Створюються опозиції «реальність – мрія», «чужина – батьківщина». Стан ліричного героя розкривається через мотиви самотності, непотрібності. Тему батьківщини Гнат Бердо розкриває у просторовому вимірі за допомогою образу мапи, що підкреслює віддаленість ліричного героя від неї. Також ця тема розкривається в історичному вимірі з метою заклику до боротьби за її свободу. Значне місце посідає тема Канади, яка для ліричного героя не стає «другою» батьківщиною. Проте і батьківщину-Україну він починає сприймати як чужину. Розуміє, що не повернеться туди, починає сприймати новий край як батьківщину дітей. Таким чином окреслюється проблема спадкоємності поколінь та ідентифікації майбутнього покоління. Отже, проблема батьківщини розгортається в поезії Гната Бердо багатогранно. Поет уводить багато мотивів і образів, які є традиційними для україномовної поезії Канади другої половини ХХ століття. | uk_UA |
| dc.description.abstract | ENG: Gnat Berdo’s work today is virtually unexplored. This article is devoted to the analysis of peculiarities of expression of the problem of the motherland in the works of the Ukrainian-Canadian poet Gnat Berdo. The artistic distinction between the two motherlands is traced: Ukraine and Canada. The main motives and images, through which the images of both homeland are revealed, are determined. In the work such methods of research are used: biographical (examination of the content of Gnat Berdo’s works in connection with his biography), analytical (examination of the imaginary system with the purpose of revealing the originality of expression of the problem of the motherland), descriptive (analysis of individual-author priorities and general trends in the development of Ukrainian-Canadian poetry). The central theme of Gnat Berdo’s poetic work is the problem of the motherland. Leading in its revelation are the motives of love, sadness, nostalgia for motherland-Ukraine. Oppositions reality-dream, motherland-foreign country are created. The condition of the lyrical hero is revealed because of the motives of loneliness and needlessness. Gnat Berdo reveals the theme of motherland in a spatial dimension by means of map image, which emphasizes the distance of the lyrical hero from it. It is also a historical dimension that calls for a fight for its freedom. Image of Canada, which does not become a “second” homeland for the lyrical hero, occupies a significant place. However, he begins to see his motherland as a foreign country. Realizing that he will not return there, he begins to perceive the new land as the birthplace of children. This outlines the problem of generational continuity and identification of future generations. The problem of the motherland is deployed multiaspected in the poetry of Gnat Berdo. Poet introduces many motifs and images that are traditional for Ukrainian-Canadian poetry of the second half of the 20th century. | en |
