| dc.description.abstract | UKR: У статті здійснено комплексний аналіз процесу формування історичної самосвідомості українського суспільства в умовах сучасної кризової ситуації, зумовленої повномасштабною агресією російської федерації проти України. Уточнено зміст поняття «історична самосвідомість» як інтегративного феномена, що відображає усвідомлення спільнотою власного історичного досвіду, тяглості розвитку та колективної ідентичності. Обґрунтовано, що війна стала каталізатором мнемонічної мобілізації та прискореного переосмислення колективної пам’яті, в межах якого відбувається деколонізація історичного наративу й відновлення суб’єктності українського історичного дискурсу. Проаналізовано сучасні дослідження, які фіксують зміцнення громадянської ідентичності, зростання національної згуртованості та трансформацію ієрархії самоідентифікацій — від регіонально-локальних до україноцентричних. Виокремлено ключові емпіричні прояви цього процесу: масовий перехід до україномовного спілкування, системну дерусифікацію та декомунізацію символічного простору, реформування освітніх програм з урахуванням принципів деколонізації знання та формування критичного історичного мислення. Війна стимулювала появу нових практик комеморації та політики пам’яті, спрямованих на збереження колективного травматичного досвіду й унеможливлення його ревізії. Зроблено висновок, що кризовий контекст війни активізував історичну самосвідомість як фактор суспільної консолідації та стійкості, водночас започаткувавши етап інституційного оновлення історичної культури України. Формування зрілої історичної самосвідомості трактується як стратегічна умова модернізаційного розвитку держави у післявоєнний період. | uk_UA |
| dc.description.abstract | ENG: The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the formation of historical self-awareness in Ukrainian society under the crisis conditions provoked by the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine (since 2022). The concept of “historical self-awareness” is refined as an integrative phenomenon reflecting the community’s comprehension of its historical experience, developmental continuity, and collective identity. It is substantiated that the war has become a catalyst for mnemonic mobilization and accelerated re-evaluation of collective memory, within which the decolonization of the historical narrative and the restoration of Ukraine’s historical subjectivity are taking place. Contemporary scholarly research indicates the strengthening of civic identity, the growth of national cohesion, and a shift in identification hierarchies from regional or dual identities toward a Ukrainian-centered model. The study highlights key empirical manifestations of this process: the mass transition to the Ukrainian language in everyday and public communication, systematic derussification and decommunization of the symbolic space, and the reformation of educational curricula according to the principles of decolonized knowledge and critical historical thinking. The wartime experience has generated new commemorative practices and memory policies aimed at preserving the collective traumatic experience and preventing its revision. It is concluded that the war has activated historical self-awareness as a factor of social consolidation and resilience while initiating a new stage in the institutional development of Ukraine’s historical culture. The formation of a mature historical consciousness is interpreted as a strategic prerequisite for the country’s modernization in the postwar era. | en |
