Abstract
UKR: У статті досліджується діяльність Вільяма Шекспіра як новатора не тільки у сфері драматургії, поезії та театральній діяльності, але й як інноватора у просторі бізнесових рішень, ефективно-го та успішного інвестора. Окреслено основні вектори історично-економічних пошуків в області творчості Вільяма Шекспіра як літератора та активного актора соціально-економічного життя. Показано роль грантів у театральній справі та проведено осучаснення їх величини з урахуванням зростання рівня цін за минулі століття. Проаналізовано зміст та особливості соціально-економічних відносин між власником, пайовиками та найманими робітниками у театрах піздньоєлизаветинської доби. Визначено та обґрунтовано економічні виміри реалізації Шекспіром прагнення до нобілітації. Показано інноваційну стратегію диверсифікації інвестиційних проектів, яку застосовував Шекспір в іпостасі економічного актора, наголошено на важливості лихварства як джерела покращення його соціально-економічного стану.
ENG: The article provides a study the activity of William Shakespeare as an innovator in the field of drama,poetry and theatrical activity, also as an innovator in the space of business solutions, an effectiveand successful investor. The main vectors of historical and economic research in the field of William Shakespeare's work as a writer and an active actor of socio-economic life are outlined. The role of grants in the theatrical business of an outstanding thinker of medieval England is shown, and their amount has been updated taking into account the increase in the level of prices over the past centuries. The content and features of socio-economic relations between the owner, shareholders and hired workers in the theaters of the late Elizabethan era are analyzed. The significance of WilliamShakespeare's investments in theatrical entrepreneurship as successful capital investments is revealed. Investments provided the investor with an annual average profit of about UAH 2.5 million. It is illustrated that one of the markers of the efficiency of William Shakespeare's investments is therate of return. The rate of profit at the Globe Theater exceeded the average rate of profit in the national economy of England at the end of the 16th century. The economic dimensions of Shakespeare's realization of the aspiration to ennoblement are defined and substantiated. The significance of investments in ensuring the positive completion of this process is emphasized. In particular, the emphasis is on obtaining new opportunities for Shakespeare as an investor regarding the free acquisition of land, the purchase of the right to church tithes, the acquisition of extraterritorial status, etc. The innovative strategy of diversification of investment projects, which was used by Shakespeare as an economic actor, is shown. The importance of usury as a source of improving its socio-economic condition is emphasized. The risks and dangers of usurious activity, its social background in the conditions of the dominance of a religious worldview are shown. The role of land investments for the purpose of obtaining rent and investments in agricultural production for the purpose of obtaining profit, which were carried out by William Shakespeare as an economic actor in the framework of the strategy of ensuring synergy of investments, is determined.
