The Library Services for Improvement of Information Ecology at the University

ENG: During the educational process and scientific research activities students, teachers, scientists work with a large number of educational and scientific sources, which they receive through various information channels. Along with high-quality sources of information, there are risks of consuming information products from unscrupulous publishers, outdated, pseudo-scientific information content, which in turn can negatively affect the quality of the educational process, research activities, and the well-being of researchers in general. Let's consider the services of the library that improve the information ecology of the university: measures that contribute to the formation of information literacy and academic integrity; a website and a single point of access to all educational and scientific resources; subject librarians to form an up-to-date collection of information resources; the university's own electronic collections supported by the library, etc.

UKR: Під час освітнього процесу та науково-дослідної діяльності студенти, викладачі, науковці працюють з великою кількістю навчальних та наукових джерел, які вони отримують через різні інформаційни канали. Поруч з якісними джерелами інформації існують ризики споживання інформаційних продуктів недоброчесних видавців, застарілого, псевдонаукового інформаційного контенту, що в свою чергу може негативно позначатися як на якості освітнього процесу, науково-дослідній діяльності, так і на добробуті дослідників в цілому. Розглянемо послуги та сервіси бібліотеки, що покращують інформаційну екологію університету: заходи, що сприяють формуванню інформаційної грамотності та академічної доброчесності; веб-сайт та єдину точку доступу до освітніх, наукових ресурсів; послуги предметних бібліотекарів для формування актуальної колекції інформаційних ресурсів; власні електронні колекції університету, які підтримує бібліотека тощо.
