Сучасні виклики та перспективи розвитку залізничних вантажних перевезень України

UKR: В статті проаналізовано сучасні виклики та перспективи розвитку залізничних вантажних перевезень в Україні. Використано методи порівняльного аналізу, зокрема аналіз статистичних даних 2021—2023 років, що дозволило виявити зміну обсягів перевезень залізничним та автомобільним транспортом. Результати дослідження демонструють значне зниження обсягів залізничних перевезень через руйнування інфраструктури, тоді як автомобільні перевезення показали кращу адаптивність. Наукова новизна полягає у представленні табличних даних, які висвітлюють основні обмежуючі фактори експорту через західні залізничні переходи. Стаття також містить пропозиції щодо інтеграції нових технологій для підвищення ефективності транспортної системи. У статті проаналізовано сучасні виклики та перспективи розвитку залізничних вантажних перевезень в Україні в умовах війни. Розглянуто ключові тенденції, зокрема зниження частки залізничних перевезень на користь автомобільних, що пояснюється як економічними факторами, так і проблемами залізничної інфраструктури, зокрема її пошкодженнями через військові дії. Використано методи порівняльного та системного аналізу, включаючи аналіз статистичних даних 2021-2023 років, що дозволило виявити зміну обсягів перевезень залізничним і автомобільним транспортом. Результати дослідження показують суттєве зниження обсягів залізничних перевезень через руйнування інфраструктури, дефіцит тягових засобів і необхідність перепланування маршрутів, тоді як автомобільні перевезення продемонстрували вищу адаптивність. Наукова новизна полягає у виявленні та систематизації ключових обмежуючих факторів експорту через західні залізничні переходи, з подальшими пропозиціями щодо інтеграції новітніх цифрових технологій для підвищення ефективності й адаптивності транспортної системи в умовах сучасних викликів.

ENG: The article analyzes the current challenges and prospects for the development of railway freight transportation in Ukraine in the context of war. Key trends are examined, notably the reduction in the share of rail transport in favor of road freight, driven by both economic factors and infrastructural problems, particularly damage due to military actions. The research uses comparative and systematic analysis methods, including the analysis of statistical data from 2021-2023, which enabled the identification of changes in the volumes of transportation by rail and road. The results highlight a significant decrease in rail freight volumes, attributed to the destruction of infrastructure, a shortage of traction equipment, and the need to redesign routes, while road transport has demonstrated higher adaptability to these challenges. The scientific novelty lies in identifying and systematizing the key limiting factors for exports through western railway crossings, with further recommendations on integrating new digital technologies to improve the overall efficiency and adaptability of the transport system amid modern challenges. The study underscores the broader impact of these trends on Ukraine's logistics and economic stability, with railway and road transport playing vital roles in sustaining economic activity. Notably, road freight has gained prominence due to its flexibility, with its share surpassing rail for the first time in 2022. However, the railway sector retains a strategic role in long-distance and bulk cargo transportation, which remains essential for the national economy. The article offers strategic recommendations for overcoming the challenges faced by the railway sector, including modernizing infrastructure, leveraging technological innovations, and strengthening international partnerships. These steps aim to enhance the resilience and efficiency of Ukraine's transport system, ensuring more sustainable and adaptive logistics solutions for the future, particularly in the context of ongoing geopolitical instability and economic recovery. The integration of these measures is critical for maintaining supply chain stability and supporting the post-war rebuilding of the country's transport infrastructure.
