UKR: Розглядається проблема створення дослідницької методології для гуманітарних наук, яка не поступалася б за науковою якістю методології наук природничо-технічних. З середини ХІХ століття і донині це постійно турбує істориків, філософів, філологів. Автор розмірковує на тему, якою методологією користуватись історикові релігії та Церкви.

ENG: The problem of creating a research methodology for the humanities, which would not be inferior in terms of scientific quality to the methodology of the natural and technical sciences, is considered. From the middle of the 19th century to the present, it constantly worries historians, philosophers, and philologists. The author reflects on the topic of which methodology should be used by historical religions and the Church.
