Abstract
UKR: Розглянуто думки провідних зарубіжних і українських вчених-дослідників щодо сутності поняття «автотуризм», його основоположних функцій, ступеня цінності для розвитку державної економіки, глибини впливу та факторів поширення, цілей і завдань. Додатково проведено оцінку галузі, а також визначено класифікацію основних видів автотуризму. Окрему увагу приділено питанню державного регулювання автотуристичного сектора з урахування чинних нормативних і законодавчих документів. На основі аналізу теоретичної бази наукової літератури здійснено оцінювання ситуації в Україні станом на 2023 р. та з перспективою на майбутнє.
ENG: The article examines the opinions of leading foreign and Ukrainian scientists-researchers regarding the essence of the concept of "autotourism", its fundamental functions, the degree of value for the development of the state economy, the depth of influence and factors of distribution, goals and objectives. An additional assessment of the industry was carried out, as well as the classification of the main types of auto tourism was determined. Particular attention is paid to the issue of state regulation of the auto tourism sector, taking into account current regulatory and legislative documents. Based on the analysis of the theoretical base of scientific literature, an assessment of the situation in Ukraine as of 2023 and with a perspective for the future was carried out. Auto tourism has long been an important sector of tourism strategies and leisure around the world. It not only fulfills the function of developing the national socio-economic complex, but also contributes to the strengthening of relations between states. At the same time, transport plays a decisive role in the movement of both goods and people, influencing in turn other sectors of the global economy, including tourism. A modern tourist carrier usually serves two different markets, namely: domestic, international. Each of these markets needs to be further analyzed and segmented into target groups, taking into account socio-demographic profile, economic profile, travel motivation, etc. Along with positive trends in the field of auto tourism in Ukraine, there are still unresolved issues. This area develops spontaneously, without a large array of investments for development. Disadvantages include the cost of fuel, the presence of toll roads, potential breakdowns during travel or an accident, fatigue from driving, and the difficulty of crossing the customs border. Roads and information bases for tourists – in the form of route schemes and road maps – need further improvement, as well as points of accommodation for motorhomes and simplification of the car rental system. When these tasks are solved, the economic potential of automobile tourism can become one of the leading ones in the tourism industry of Ukraine. The main types of auto tourism are: safari, jeeping, caravaning, auto tours. The peculiarities of the use of some types of automobile tourism in the world and the possibility of their use in Ukraine are considered.
