Abstract
UKR: The master’s thesis consists of 70 pages, includes 14 figures, and 21 references. The master’s thesis is devoted to the development of a capital repair project for a public highway in the Kherson region, with substantiation of road traffic safety measures under post-war recovery conditions. The object of the study is a public highway in the Kherson region under post-war operational conditions. The subject of the study is technical and organizational solutions for the capital repair of a highway, as well as measures for the organization and improvement of road traffic safety applied during its restoration. The aim of the research is to develop a capital repair project for a section of a highway in compliance with modern technical standards and regulatory requirements, as well as to provide scientific substantiation of a set of measures for organizing and improving road traffic safety under post-war recovery of transport infrastructure. The research employs methods of analysis and generalization of scientific and technical literature and regulatory documents in the field of highway design and repair; engineering calculations to justify pavement structure design; comparative analysis in selecting road traffic safety measures; and methods for evaluating the effectiveness of the proposed design solutions. The scientific novelty of the master’s thesis lies in a comprehensive approach to substantiating design solutions for capital highway repair under post-war recovery conditions, which combines engineering calculations of pavement structures with a systematic analysis of road traffic safety factors and adaptation of design solutions to restoration operation conditions.
