Роль бібліотеки як інфраструктури, що орієнтує користувача не просто на пошук інформації, а отримання вірогідних знань. Проблематизовано питання про нові потреби бібліотечної кадрової політики в контексті зростання консультативних функцій бібліотеки та питання про перспективи осмислення понять інформаційний ресурс та інформаційний простір.

ENG: It is about the crisis of the traditional concept of the library as a communication intermediary. The question of finding information in conditions of information chaos is raised. The role of the library as an infrastructure that guides the user not just to search for information, but to obtain reliable knowledge. The question of the new needs of the library personnel policy in the context of the growth of the advisory functions of the library and the question of the prospects for understanding the concepts of information resource and information space are problematized.
