Переваги впровадження інструменту PMIS для управління інформацією у проєктах

UKR: У статті досліджено проблеми управління інформацією у проєктах та визначено ключову роль інформаційних систем управління проєктами у забезпеченні ефективності та успішності реалізації проєктної діяльності. В умовах сучасного динамічного середовища проєкти характеризуються зростаючою складністю, багаторівневістю та участю великої кількості зацікавлених сторін, що зумовлює значне навантаження на інформаційні потоки. Основними проблемами, що виникають в процесі управління інформацією у проєктах, є надлишковість та фрагментація інформації, недостатня якість даних, затримки в обміні інформацією, а також складності у забезпеченні доступності, актуальності та безпеки інформаційних ресурсів. Зазначені проблеми негативно впливають на прийняття управлінських рішень, своєчасне виконання завдань, моніторинг прогресу проєктів та досягнення поставлених цілей. У зв’язку з цим виникає необхідність впровадження ефективних засобів інформаційної підтримки, серед яких особливе місце займають інформаційні системи управління проєктами (Project Management Information Systems, PMIS). Такі системи забезпечують автоматизацію збору, зберігання, обробки та розповсюдження інформації, сприяють покращенню комунікацій між учасниками проєктів, підвищують прозорість процесів та спрощують доступ до актуальної інформації в реальному часі. У статті проаналізовано призначення та функціональні можливості інформаційної системи управління проєктами (PMIS). Розглянуто застосування PMIS на всіх фазах життєвого циклу проєкту: від ініціації до завершення. Визначено її ключову роль у плануванні, контролі витрат, ресурсів, графіків, комунікації, аналітиці та забезпеченні конкурентних переваг підприємства. Зазначено, що впровадження інформаційних систем управління проєктами є необхідною умовою для підвищення ефективності управління інформацією у проєктах, мінімізації ризиків, покращення взаємодії між учасниками та досягнення стратегічних цілей організації.

ENG: The article explores the challenges of information management in projects and highlights the key role of Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) in ensuring the efficiency and success of project implementation. In today’s dynamic environment, projects are characterized by increasing complexity, multi-level structures, and the involvement of a large number of stakeholders, which creates a significant load on information flows. The main problems arising in the process of information management in projects include information redundancy and fragmentation, insufficient data quality, delays in information exchange, as well as difficulties in ensuring the accessibility, relevance, and security of information resources. These problems negatively affect managerial decision-making, timely task execution, project progress monitoring, and achievement of set goals. Therefore, there is a need to implement effective information support tools, among which Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) play a special role. Such systems ensure the automation of data collection, storage, processing, and dissemination, improve communication among project participants, enhance process transparency, and simplify access to up-to-date information in real time. The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the purpose, structure, and functional capabilities of the Project Management Information System (PMIS). It explores the use of PMIS across all phases of the project life cycle — from initiation, planning, execution, to closure. The paper emphasizes PMIS’s essential role in project scheduling, cost, resource and performance control, improving communication, ensuring team collaboration, generating analytical reports, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and increasing the organization’s competitive advantage through datadriven decision-making. It is noted that the implementation of Project Management Information Systems is a necessary condition for improving the efficiency of information management in projects, minimizing risks, enhancing interaction among participants, and achieving the strategic goals of the organization.
