Abstract
EN: Abstract. The article discusses the advantages and disadvantages of distance learning compared to full-time and correspondence education. The student’s qualities that he/she must have in order to get a positive result in distance learning are shown, as well as the difficulties that he/she will encounter. The indisputable advantages of this form of training and the reasons why distance education can be ineffective are given in the paper.
