ENG: The transition to sustainable development requires the integration of technological innovation, environmental responsibility, and effective governance. In this context, transport and infrastructure systems play a key role, as they determine not only mobility efficiency, but also the environmental and socio-economic impacts of modern societies. This Reprint therefore brings together researchers working on different modes of transport and infrastructure systems. The published review, experimental, computational, and theoretical studies covered a wide range of topics, including: environmental and energy transformation of transport systems; infrastructure and engineering solutions; traffic safety and performance in freight transport and navigation systems; management, decision-making, and socio-economic aspects of transport and infrastructure systems. The Reprint aims to contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of sustainable transport and infrastructure development, which requires coordinated action across multiple domains. Including the latest research and findings in the Reprint will aid in attaining successful achievement of sustainable development, promoting the principles of sustainable development in all modes of transport and related infrastructure fields.
