Integration of Information Literacy Training Across University

ENG: The presentation addresses the integration of information literacy (IL) training within university curricula, facilitated by the library. At the undergraduate level, students acquire foundational knowledge of library services, search methodologies, and the evaluation of sources. Master's studies include training and workshops on specific topics, such as advanced search techniques, proper referencing, and ethical usage. At the postgraduate level, the training encompasses literature review methodologies, publishing ethics, open science principles, and research data management. The progressive model, developed in collaboration with faculty, ensures the continuous advancement of skills throughout academic studies, thereby contributing to academic success and the promotion of lifelong learning. Subject librarians and data managers play a key role in fostering information literacy. The key practices, challenges, and benefits associated of this approach are also highlighted.

UKR: Презентація присвячена інтеграції навчання інформаційної грамотності (ІГ) в університетські навчальні програми за сприяння бібліотеки. На рівні бакалаврату студенти здобувають базові знання про бібліотечні послуги, методи пошуку та оцінку джерел. Магістерські програми включають навчання та семінари з конкретних тем, таких як сучасні методи пошуку, правильне цитування та етичне використання. На рівні аспірантури навчання охоплює методики огляду літератури, етику публікацій, принципи відкритої науки та управління даними досліджень. Прогресивна модель, розроблена у співпраці з викладацьким складом, забезпечує постійне вдосконалення навичок протягом усього періоду навчання, тим самим сприяючи академічному успіху та підтримці навчання протягом усього життя. Бібліотекарі-предметники та менеджери даних відіграють ключову роль у розвитку інформаційної грамотності. Також висвітлюються основні практики, виклики та переваги, пов'язані з цим підходом.
